women as CEO.

The advancement of inclusion issues in the corporate world are truly relevant and have been gaining more and more space every day. But nothing proves this more than finding several women as CEO in large technology companies.

In the past, the technology market, especially information technology, seemed to be completely dominated by men. This is still evident in college classrooms that teach this type of course.

But this has changed, and today we have selected some cases of companies and inspiring stories that show women in charge.

Remember that the stories and examples presented here are just some of the many models we see around the world. But great change can only really happen if everyone does their part and does their best.

1 – SAP

The giant SAP is one of the landmarks of technology worldwide, and in Brazil its importance is usually even greater.

In control of this company we have the incredible Cristina Palmaka, who is president not only of the company in Brazil, but throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

Initially graduating in Administration from Álvares Penteado, she managed to continue her path to success with more courses at FGV and the University of Texas.

But certainly much of your experience came from working at other technology companies, such as Microsoft, HP and Philips.

2 – GE Brazil

Another large company that we will use as an example is General Electronics itself, which has a presence in Brazil. Its leader is none other than Viveka Kaitila.

This is a brilliant mind who came straight from Finland to our country. Her background was in mathematics, and she started working at GE in 1997.

Her career has allowed her to climb several positions by demonstrating her innovative streak that revolutionizes the company from the inside out. It has now been 3 years since she took on her role as CEO of the Brazil region.

A great example of the many women CEOs we can see today.

3 – Nubank

Nubank is undoubtedly one of the first and most successful Brazilian fintechs. It is still one of the best-rated payment and credit card systems today.

In its leadership we can count on none other than Cristina Junqueira.

This character's incredible trajectory in Brazil was marked forever when she became one of the founders of Nubank. She was one of the first examples of not only someone who built a career, but an entire company.

4 – Cianet

Until 2019, Cianet had the help of the graceful Silvia Foster. Being a technology company where male predominance was truly imperative for many years.

Today, she is part of the company's strategic committee.
